The ASRT Foundation hit a hole-in-one with its Fairway to Philanthropy fundraising event! Held June 25 during the 2022 ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting, the event brought in more than $7,000 that will help fund scholarships, grants and outreach opportunities for medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals and students now and into the future.
The event’s success proved what we’ve always known about our donors — they are as fun-loving as they are generous. More than 100 donors donned their most flamboyant golf attire and joined Foundation staff at Topgolf Orlando for a night of golf, food and fun in support of our mission. The consensus was that everyone was thrilled to be together again in person, mingle with old friends and meet new ones, and work on improving their swing.
The Foundation would like to thank all who participated and all who donated, including our corporate sponsors: Weber State University, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, The University of Texas MD Anderson School of Health Professions Radiologic Sciences Program, and PL Medical.
We’re already planning next year’s fundraising event in Reno, Nevada!
