The 2017 Annual Drawing winners were selected and announced at the Annual Governance and House of Delegates meeting in Orlando at the end of June.
Congratulations to Rex Miller, B.S., R.T.(R)(MR), for taking the grand prize: a five-night trip for two to Maui, New Orleans or Montreal.
As residents of Michigan, Rex and his wife, Clarisa, didn’t need to ponder the options long before making their decision.
“While all the destination choices are wonderful, who could turn down Maui?” Rex said. “Thank you to the Foundation for this exciting and incredible prize.”
In previous years, Rex purchased only one or two tickets for the Annual Drawing. However, this year, in an effort to improve his chances of winning – and also to offer a little more support to the Foundation – Rex purchased the 10-ticket pack.
His strategy paid off.
“I encourage everyone to support the Foundation for the future of our great profession,” he said. “And good luck to everyone next year.”
Two More Lucky Winners
Winning ticket numbers for the Annual Drawing’s second and third place prizes were also announced at the AGHOD meeting.
Congratulations to Patricia Graham, M.B.A., R.T.(R), who won a Series 2 Apple Watch as the second place prize, and to Renee Eskierka, R.T.(R)(M)(CT)(MR), who held the winning third place ticket. Her prize was a $200 Amazon gift card.
“Oh my goodness,” Patricia said. “I can’t believe I won an Apple Watch!”
“I am so grateful to have won,” Renee said. “Thank you to the ASRT Foundation and all they do.”
